Segueix la Jornada presencialment o per streaming i podràs gaudir de la ponència inaugural "Malalties Minoritàries: avançant tots junts" i de dues taules rodones titulades: "Avenços en l'atenció a les Malalties Minoritàries" i "Xerrades amb l'expert".
El dia 25 de febrer celebrarem la Jornada de Malalties Minoritàries, que té l'objectiu de donar a conèixer i conscienciar sobre aquestes patologies de la mà de professionals, personal investigador i pacients. Sovint són poc conegudes; per aquest motiu, pacients i famílies han de passar per nombroses proves i especialistes fins a tenir un diagnòstic. Aquesta Jornada es farà en motiu del Dia Mundial de les Malalties Minoritàries, que se celebra el 28 de febrer.
Les malalties minoritàries són greus, poc freqüents i afecten 5 de cada 10.000 persones. N'hi ha més de 7.000, un 80% de les quals són d'origen genètic. Generalment impliquen diversos òrgans i afecten les capacitats físiques, les habilitats mentals i les qualitats sensorials i de comportament de les persones afectades. Poden aparèixer des del naixement o la infantesa, però n'hi ha que no es manifesten fins a l'edat adulta.
