El conseller del Consell de Seguretat Nuclear (CSN), Javier Dies, va visitar el passat 21 de març l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron.
El conseller del Consell de Seguretat Nuclear (CSN), Javier Dies, va visitar el passat 21 de març l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. Acompanyat pel subdirector de Protecció Radiològica Operacional, Javier Zarzuela, el director general d’Energia, Mines i Seguretat Industrial de la Generalitat, Pere Palacín, i el director del Servei de Coordinació d’Activitats Radioactives, Enric Batalla, va reunir-se amb responsables del centre i va fer un recorregut per les instal·lacions de medicina nuclear de l’Hospital, que cada any tracten més de 40.000 pacients.
El conseller Dies també es va reunir amb el gerent de Vall d’Hebron, el Dr. Vicenç Martínez Ibáñez, i la directora assistencial, la Dra. Ana Ochoa de Echagüen, per conèixer de primera mà el funcionament d’aquests equips. També hi van assistir la cap del Servei de Física i Protecció Radiològica, la Dra. Mercè Beltran, el cap del Servei d’Oncologia Radioteràpica, el Dr. Jordi Giralt, el cap del Servei de Medicina Nuclear, el Dr. Joan Castell, i el cap del Servei de Radiologia, el Dr. Manel Escobar.
