Local specialist centres

Vall d’Hebron University Hospital has three specialist outpatient surgery centres in Barcelona that cover a range of necessities, including: outpatient surgery; tropical medicine and community health; and clinically complex patients.

Pere Virgili Major Outpatient Surgery and Rehabilitation Centre

This centre specialises in outpatient surgery as an alternative to conventional hospitalisation, which is more convenient for patients. The facilities, the minimally invasive surgical technology and the organisation of the centre are all designed to enable treatment where the patient can go home the same day.
