I am a psychiatrist at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and a researcher at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). I carry out my clinical work in the Addiction and Dual Diagnosis Unit, and my research focuses on the study of addictions, dual diagnosis, and mental health from a neurobiological and clinical perspective.

Curriculum

I hold a degree in Medicine from the Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia) and completed my Psychiatry residency (MIR) at Vall d’Hebron Hospital (Barcelona). Since 2016, I have been working as a consultant psychiatrist in the Psychiatry Department at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. In 2022, I received my PhD in Psychiatry. I am a researcher in the Psychiatry, Mental Health and Addictions Group at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), where I develop and participate in both independent and multicenter research projects at the national and international level. My research focuses on addictions, dual diagnosis, and mental health from neurobiological and clinical perspectives; the results of this work have been published in various indexed journals.
