We are the combination of four hospitals: the General Hospital, the Children’s Hospital, the Women’s Hospital and the Traumatology, Rehabilitation and Burns Hospital. We are part of the Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus: a world-leading health park where healthcare plays a crucial role.

Soc cirurgià general especialitzat en l’àrea de Cirurgia Hepatobiliopancreàtica i Trasplantament Hepàtic, amb participació activa en trasplantaments hepàtics pediàtrics i de donant viu. El meu interès personal no només se centra en l’activitat quirúrgica sinó també en la docència, la formació dels residents i la investigació, amb assajos clínics, articles i comunicacions en congressos nacionals i internacionals.
El 2007 em vaig especialitzar en Cirurgia General i de l’Aparell Digestiu, després de 5 anys de formació com a resident a l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. Aquell mateix any vaig obtenir el doctorat per la UAB amb la presentació de la tesi “Factors de risc de morbimortalitat tardana en trasplantament hepàtic”. Des d’aleshores, la meva activitat quirúrgica ha estat vinculada al Servei de Cirurgia Hepatobioliopancreàtica i Trasplantament.
Pel que fa a la meva formació, destaca l’obtenció el 2011 del diploma interuniversitari “Hepatic-Pancreatic and Biliary Cancers: Onco-Surgical Strategies” per l’Hospital Paul Brousse-Université Paris XI i el European Board of Surgery Qualification in Transplatation Surgery. Diverses estades a l’estranger (Children’s Hospital in Transplantation Surgery el 2007; Queen Elizabeth Hospital de Birmingham el 2009; i Toronto General Hospital el 2017) m’han permès ampliar la meva formació i millorar aspectes tècnics tant de cirurgia hepàtica com pancreàtica.
Des del punt de vista de l’activitat docent, soc professora associada de la UAB, tutora de residents de cirurgia general i formo part del Eduction and Training Committee de la European Society Surgical Oncology.
