AGAUR-SGR Coordinator. Cooperation in third world countries. My interests include surgical activity, new technologies and research. In 2011, I specialized in General Surgery at the Hospital La Fe, in Valencia. I later worked at the Valencia Oncology Institute, where I conducted hepatobiliary surgery for the center. Seeking to acquire greater knowledge of minimally invasive hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, I emigrated to France in 2015. While there I worked for the Hôpital Henri Mondor developing my skills in the fields of laparoscopic surgery, robotics and transplantations. Since 2017, I have been working at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in the department of Hepatology Surgery and Transplantations. With respect to my education, I received two scholarships to study abroad: in 2003, the Medical Student Program at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, USA; and in 2011, the unit of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Cantonal Hospital in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2012, I received two degrees, a Master of Clinical Trial from the University of Seville and Hepatic-Pancreatic and Biliary Cancers: Onco-Surgical Strategies from the University of Paris XI. I also earned a European University Diploma, HBP Surgical Techniques from the University of Paris Est, in 2014. In 2018, I presented my international doctoral thesis, N-acetylcysteine in Liver Donor. I received a certificate in Advanced Training in Hepatobiliary Surgery from the Ageo Central General Hospital in Japan in 2019. My current main area of research is increasing liver donor pool through LiverColor project. Also interest in fluorescence in HPB tumours and new technologies in transplantation field.
