En l'era de la seqüenciació d'última generació, l'aparició de noves tecnologies està canviant el paradigma d'estudi genètic tant permetent el descobriment de gens causants de malaltia com millorant el temps de resposta diagnòstic en síndromes conegudes el que fa imperiós estar preparat per a tots aquests nous reptes. És rellevant, per a qualsevol professional implicat en l'assistència sanitària tenir una formació bàsica en genètica clínica. Aquest curs pretén ser una “píndola formativa” per a millorar el coneixement en genètica clínica amb aplicabilitat per al treball diari.
