Clarivate list of most highly cited researchers
Determined by the Clarivate team, the list includes selected researchers who have written multiple highly cited articles that rank in the top 1% of the most cited articles per field and per year in Web of Science over the last decade. This is not the only selection indicator. A preliminary list based on citation activity is then refined through qualitative analysis and expert judgement.
This year's Highly Cited Researcher designations have been awarded to 7,125 individuals. This small fraction of the research population contributes significantly to pushing the frontiers of knowledge and achieving innovative solutions to make the world healthier, more sustainable and safer.
