Enguany l'Hospital puja vuit posicions segons la classificació de la consultora britànica, que analitza els 250 hospitals amb vinculació acadèmica més reputats a nivell internacional.
Un any més, Vall d’Hebron ha estat reconegut com un dels hospitals universitaris més prestigiosos d’arreu del món segons el criteri de 2.500 professionals de la salut de 30 països que participen en el rànquing Brand Finance. L'Hospital ocupa aquest any la 65a posició i, d'aquesta manera, avança vuit llocs respecte de l'any passat. Cal destacar que l'any passat ja havia escalat cinc respecte del 2024.
El nord-americà Johns Hopkins Medicine i el britànic Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust han repetit com les marques hospitalàries més fortes a nivell mundial. Només altres dos hospitals a l’Estat formen part dels 100 primers del rànquing: l’Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (52) i l’Hospital Universitario La Paz (84).
Aquesta classificació s’ha establert a partir de l’informe 'Els 250 millors hospitals del món 2026' amb la informació obtinguda sobre les percepcions de les marques d’assistència mèdica de centenars de professionals i els factors que influeixen en la seva decisió de treballar en aquests hospitals, així com del seu criteri en recomanar-los.
Els paràmetres més importants tinguts en consideració per impulsar la reputació d’un centre sanitari són, principalment, gaudir de reconeixement internacional i comptar amb les acreditacions pertinents, oferir els millors resultats per als pacients, i prestar una atenció assistencial especialitzada.
