La Jornada de Malalties Minoritàries posa el focus en la importància del cribratge neonatal com a eina clau per a la detecció precoç de malalties minoritàries. Identificar aquestes patologies en les primeres etapes de la vida permet iniciar tractaments de manera anticipada, millorar el pronòstic i, en molts casos, canviar radicalment la trajectòria vital dels infants i les seves famílies.
Aquesta jornada vol generar un espai de reflexió i coneixement compartit entre professionals sanitaris, investigadors, gestors i entitats vinculades a les malalties minoritàries, per aprofundir en el valor clínic, social i humà del cribratge neonatal, així com en els reptes presents i futurs del seu desplegament.
