Per segon any consecutiu, Vall d’Hebron ha acollit la visita de directius de la companyia aèria Singapore Airlines que han repartit regals entre els nens i nenes ingressats a l’Hospital de Dia Polivalent Pediàtric.
La visita s’ha dut en el marc de la col·laboració de l’aerolínia amb la BCN PID Foundation, una entitat sense ànim de lucre que promou l’atenció de les persones amb una immunodeficiència primària i les seves famílies, alhora que treballa juntament amb Vall d’Hebron per aquest objectiu.
El Dr. Pere Soler, cap de la Unitat de Patologia Infecciosa i Immunodeficiències de Pediatria i del Grup d'Infecció en el Pacient Pediàtric Immunodeprimit al VHIR, ha assenyalat que “la col·laboració amb empreses i entitats és clau per impulsar iniciatives que milloren el benestar emocional i la qualitat de vida dels infants i adolescents que atenem. Gràcies a aquest treball conjunt viuen experiències que contribueixen positivament a la seva percepció de l’atenció que reben al nostre centre.”
A la visita han estat presents la Dra. Rosa Romero, coordinadora de l'Hospital Infantil, Hospital de la Dona i de Recursos Assistencials, i Sira Franquero, cap de Mecenatge, Aliances Estratègiques i RSC de Vall d’Hebron, que han agraït la generositat i la sensibilitat mostrades cap a aquests petits pacients, així com membres de la BCN PID Foundation.
