Resum: S'aprèn a parlar intraúter, a partir de les 34 setmanes de gestació, escoltant la veu materna. La veu materna és la guia essencial per al desenvolupament del llenguatge. El màxim desenvolupament de les vies del llenguatge passa abans dels 6 mesos de vida. L'exposició en aquest període crític a llenguatge ric i ben estructurat és essencial per a un desenvolupament adequat i un bon llenguatge. La lectura de contes des de les etapes precoces de la vida compleix aquesta funció dexposició a un llenguatge de qualitat ia més genera temps compartits entre mare, pare i nadó de bona qualitat. En concret es generen neurosincronies similars a les que ocorren intrauter. Aquesta exposició precoç als contes es relaciona amb bons resultats acadèmics i millor desenvolupament del llenguatge. La lectura compartida és la millor opció per “nutrir” el llenguatge.
