La pandèmia generada pel COVID19 va esdevindre un repte a nivell assistencial i logístic sense precedents. El nostre hospital va incrementar el seu nombre de llits d’UCI en un 436%, passant de 54 llits a 244. Van funcionar simultàniament 13 UCI COVID19.
Un cop superada la primera onada, ens vam plantejar com aquesta adaptació i transformació de les unitats i dels equips assistencials, havia afectat als nostres professionals d’infermeria.
La capacitat d’adaptació dels professionals a nivell personal i professional ha estat excel·lent. Tot i això les dades obtingudes ens diuen que han patit molt i encara no estan recuperats. Cal que els facilitem eines d’ajuda per tal de tenir cura d’ells i garantir la seva recuperació.
