La Unitat d'Alta Tecnologia (UAT) del VHIR ha incorporat recentment a la seva cartera de serveis un separador cel·lular amb tecnologia full-spectrum: l'equip Aurora CS (Cytek), equipat amb 5 làsers (355, 405, 488, 561 i 640 nm) i cabina de bioseguretat, per permetre treballar amb cèl·lules viables en un entorn de bioseguretat adequat.
L'objectiu d'aquesta presentació és oferir una introducció a les característiques diferencials de la citometria “full spectrum” davant de la citometria convencional i els seus principals avantatges, així com les seves aplicacions pràctiques. En aquest sentit, també es proporcionarà un exemple real de com aquesta tecnologia, a nivell d'anàlisi, s'ha aplicat a un projecte amb mostres de pacients infectats amb SARS-CoV-2.
