We are the combination of four hospitals: the General Hospital, the Children’s Hospital, the Women’s Hospital and the Traumatology, Rehabilitation and Burns Hospital. We are part of the Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus: a world-leading health park where healthcare plays a crucial role.
Below we will list the departments and units that form part of Vall d’Hebron Hospital and the main diseases that we treat. We will also make recommendations based on advice backed up by scientific evidence that has been shown to be effective in guaranteeing well-being and quality of life.

Vall d’Hebron estrena cotxes sostenibles 100% elèctrics proporcionats per l’ICS per atendre pacients hospitalitzats a casa.
La Unitat d’Hospitalització a Domicili de Vall d’Hebron ha estrenat nova flota de vehicles, formada per tres cotxes 100% elèctrics proporcionats per l’ICS (Institut Català de la Salut), destinats a l’atenció domiciliària.
D’aquests vehicles en faran ús tres equips assistencials del centre: un de Medicina Interna, un de Pneumologia i un de Suport Nutricional. Cadascun d’ells està integrat per tres professionals que permetran agilitzar l’atenció al pacient i així poder oferir un servei ràpid i eficaç: un metge, un infermer i un conductor. Un dels tres cotxes està sotmès a un breu període de prova que alterna dos tipus de conducció –l’econòmica i l’esportiva– i que permetrà conèixer amb més profunditat el funcionament del vehicle i estipular quants quilòmetres d’autonomia té.
L’evidència científica defineix la contaminació atmosfèrica urbana com un dels factors més perjudicials per a la salut pública. Es per aquest motiu que Vall d’Hebron es suma a l’aposta pel respecte al medi ambient i a l’impuls de mesures que impactin positivament en la ciutadania.
