We are the combination of four hospitals: the General Hospital, the Children’s Hospital, the Women’s Hospital and the Traumatology, Rehabilitation and Burns Hospital. We are part of the Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus: a world-leading health park where healthcare plays a crucial role.
Below we will list the departments and units that form part of Vall d’Hebron Hospital and the main diseases that we treat. We will also make recommendations based on advice backed up by scientific evidence that has been shown to be effective in guaranteeing well-being and quality of life.

Presentem, per sisè any consecutiu, l’aposta del VHIR per comunicar els seus resultats científics i institucionals de l’any 2016: la memòria multimèdia. A més de la memòria en paper, el nou format continua aportant modernitat i agilitat, amb vídeos i gràfics que ajuden a explicar el que hem fet durant aquest període de 12 mesos.
Una vegada més, a l’edició multimèdia del nostre informe anual, hem inclòs els vídeos sobre les publicacions més importants del 2016, d’acord amb les votacions dels nostres principals investigadors. Alguns dels autors d’aquestes publicacions juntament amb el Director de VHIR, el Dr. Joan Comella, i el Gerent de l’hospital, el Dr. Vicenç Martínez Ibáñez, han fet un repàs per als dos avenços més importants a nivell institucional de 2016: la creació del Campus Vall d’Hebron i el començament del projecte de nou edifici de recerca.
Finalment, la Memòria Anual del 2016 també conté, com sempre, les principals dades i gràfics de producció científica, recursos humans i afers econòmics, així com els resultats de cadascuna de les unitats que donen suport a la recerca.
