Bioinformatician and microbiologist. Passionate for microbiology and the oportunities offered by bioinformatics to the health sector. I am currently working as a researcher at the microbiome group.

Curriculum

BsC in Microbiology by UAB and MsC in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences by UPF/UB, I joined the Research Institute during my MsC internship period.

My activity in the group consists on the treatment and analysis of omics data focused on the relation between microbiome and human health, especially in the area of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

This task is based on the integration of metagenomics, metatranscriptomics and metabolomics data aiming to discover new biomarkers for Cronh's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis and on supporting the projects of the group.
