Institutions of which it is part

I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences and, as a result of my passion for translational medicine, I currently find myself studying Medicine. I am part of the Diagnostic Nanotools group at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). Our goal is to develop and validate novel detection strategies with diagnostic purposes.

Curriculum

I have a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Barcelona (2016) and a graduate diploma in Female Patholohical Anatomy (2020). As a result of my stay at the Hospital Germans Tries i Pujol located in Badalona, my interest in translational medicine began to grow rapidly, which led me to start my studies in Medicine shortly after.
At the same time, I also studied a master's degree in Project Management to complete my knowledge in the development of projects from all perspectives other than the scientific one.
I have been professionally dedicated to R+D+i in a biotechnological laboratory for three years. I am currently in my 3rd year of Medicine and glad to be part of the Diagnostic Nanotools group of the VHIR. My main responsability consists in the optimization of the 'Synthrocytes': Synthetic Erythrocytes designed for the surveillance of infectious diseases.
