Institutions of which it is part

Pre-doctoral researcher and project manager in the Liver Diseases Research Group. My research is based on the linkage to medical care and telemedicine monitoring of people with chronic hepatitis B, D and C virus infection.

Curriculum

I graduated in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rovira i Virgili University and specialised in Forensic Analysis at the University of the Basque Country. My university training was completed in two laboratories, first in the Lipids and Arteriosclerosis Research Unit (URLA) of the Pere Virgili Institute for Health Research (IISPV) studying diabetic cardiomyopathies, and then, in the BIOMICs research group of the Lascaray Research Centre, studying the genetics of sudden cardiac death and sexual assaults.
I started working at the hospital as Administrative-Receptionist in the Support Unit for Clinical Research (USIC), a unit that provides support to more than 300 clinical trials. There I was also Study Coordinator for Covid-19 vaccines clinical trials. Currently, I work in the viral hepatitis team, on the one hand, promoting access to specialised care for people with hepatitis B, D and C, and on the other hand, increasing their adherence to follow-up and treatment through the Nora Bio telemedicine platform.
