The organisational model of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital is based on the participation and involvement of our professionals, who have the ability to take decisions that affect the hospital's operation. While management sets policies in strategy, care, teaching and research, the participation committees detect and discuss proposals for improvement. This confluence between organisation and participation helps us achieve the goals of excellence, quality and ability to resolve issues that are essential in a reference public hospital like Vall d'Hebron.

How we are structured

The patient is at the heart of everything we do. This is why the hospital is organised in a transversal, horizontal way, to adapt to your needs and offer a more flexible, efficient healthcare response. Our organisational structure and functioning seeks to find a balance between all our staff and greater circulation of information, in order to foster transparency, communication and shared responsibility
